If you care to read a bit more on why these ingredients are not so great, Vani has broken it down so well, I wanted to just focus on a fun alternative with my blog post.

So let's dive into a healthy unicorn drink you can feel great about consuming anytime of the day!

You will need:

For the blue:

2 frozen bananas

1 scoop of blue majik

2-3 pitted dates (optional)

4 drops of maca or 1 tbsp of maca powder (optional)

splash of unsweetened almond milk

For the pink:

3-4 frozen bananas

1 scoop of freeze-dried pitaya or one fresh pink dragonfruit

splash of unsweetened almond milk

1 mason jar or glass for your creation.

Directions:

Let frozen bananas sit for 5-10 minutes so the blender blade can work with them. Add a splash of almond milk to help get things moving. Blend the ingredients for the pink smoothie first. Set a little aside to top it off. Blend the ingredients for the blue smoothie. Top it off with the rest of the pink smoothie. Add a sprinkle of coconut sugar if you desire for a little extra natural sweetness.

This Unicorn Majik treat will provide you with: antioxidants, B vitamins, omega 3's, magnesium, potassium, hormonal balance, is anti-inflammatory and will leave you with a highly satisfied palate. Choose your foods wisely to nourish your body, you deserve it! :)

Enjoy and share with your friends!

In Good Health,

Laura
